A few of us were there today. Very difficult compared with the last couple of weeks of gentle Southerly winds. The problem is the strength of the wind more than the direction.
Unfortunately, the fish are on the Southern, downwind shore, and so you need to tough it out in high seas drifting into Valley Creek, the Sailing Club or Gaynes.
Di3 or Di5, just cast and retrieve fast a two blob or blob and booby setup. 18 ft leader - 8ft to first fly and 10 ft between them. Orange, Tequila or Coral seem best.
You can fish in the shelter of Church Bay or Hill Farm but only occasional takes over there. Bung with buzzers working where it is fishable.
Best bet is wait for lower strength winds - everyone bagged up yesterday !
