Thanks Taff,

but not looking to kill, only C&R as were at a convention and would not have the facility to clean or cook fish.

Stopped killing fish over 6 years ago as thats the only way i could get my daughter into fly fishing.

do they not do a C&R ticket?

what about Cefn-Mably lakes ? are they any good, i am in Cardiff from 9th may til 13th, and was advised to fish there, price is supposed to be £10 all day, and £4 per fish you kill. Not sure if this is correct though

Default Cwm Hedd

Went to Cwm Hedd for the two sessions and have to say, what nice people the owner and his assistant were, really helpfull and gave my mate lots of good advice as he is still learning.

He had 3 fish on the first afternoon and lost another, so that was him well chuffed, so much that it made his mind up not to try anywhere else and have another go on the Saturday.
Met Dave (learner) on here and it was nice to actually meet someone face to face and another angler gave my mate a box of flies to help him get going.

Brilliant time was had and again, just a huge heads up to everyone we met and spoke to.

regards

Billy
