Default airflo wavehopper fly vest

Needing to buy a new vest as my pockets are falling of my cheap one and im prone to taking nose dives into the water on a regular basis so needing a life jacket to. Does anyone have any experience with this item, was wondering how well it performs as a practical fishing vest and floatation aid, like would it keep you afloat with your chest waders full to the brim if i fell in not to keen on being upside down in a river. Or would i be better of with a vest and a seperate life jacket. It is quite expensive but i choose life

cheers

Hi ceeman, I bought one a few weeks ago and have worn it on every fishing trip since which mainly means wading the river.
I am very pleased with it, comfortable, unrestricted casting, plenty pockets, and well constructed.
I dont know how well it would do supporting my weight though as its rated for 120 newtons which would make it a buoyancy aid rather than a lifejacket.

My thinking on this is its better for me to have a buoyancy aid that I will always wear than to have a life jacket of a higher rating which sits in the back of the car, like I used do.

I got a pretty good deal on mine, I can dig out where I bought it from tonight if you want?
