I'm not a member of Rhyl & St. Asaph but I am a member of Clwyd & Denbigh AC that often have the opposite bank to them on the River Clwyd and I have fished quite a few of the Rhyl waters.
They have some decent beats on the lower and middle Clwyd which can be very good and right in the best part of the river for sea trout and salmon. Where the banks are shared the CDAC probably have the better side as pools generally fish from either the right or left bank but not both. They also have some good beats of the Elwy again right in the best part of the river and probably have the best club water on the river.
The best Elwy beats are managed on a limited rod basis and have to be booked (I think through Foxons) to keep the pressure sensible but others have no rod limit.
For me one of the jewels in their crown is a small still water where the pH is about 7 the water is clear (most of the time) and trout grow on really well with stocked rainbows and native browns growing to over 6lbs.

There is a blackbird on every thorn and a cock chaffinch, a twink as they call him there, on every bush...... It moved me profoundly. I had been spared to see another spring, and I thank God for it.”
