just wondering if anybody can give me any information as i have a split cane fly rod of a very high quality the rod maker is lawsons of bishop auckland thought to be one of the rod builders of cummings. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I've asked a couple of old fishermen I know and they seem to think the shop was on the corner at the top Bondgate street, its a cafe now but in the dim and distant passed I can sure I can remember it being there
If you go onto Google and type in Cafe 29, Bondgate, Bishop Auckland it'll show you the image of the shop, its painted a cream colour and the shop next door is green, that's if it's the shop I think.

If I find out any more I'll let you know.
