i know its all been done before but here goes, i have had a bit of trouble locating an orvis superfine rod. i went to orvis at farnham yesterday and they were all out of them and when checking the stock list there were none in the country after relaying the problem to the forum i was advised to personally call the individual stores as this problem had arisen before. i called orvis stockbridge and sure enough they had one.

the service i received today from the store was exceptional. the guy that looked after me was steven, even giving me the discount that i missed out on yesterday as well as the rod and reel promo that orvis are running at the minute. thanks to all the forum members that helped. it made my weekend. i even managed to get a fish on it this evening and on a klink i had tied myself.
