Default Weekend in Scotland ideas please?

Hi everyone, my wife, 12yr old son and I fancy a weekend away, perhaps Perthshire or similar. We've just really started fishing and would fancy some river or stillwater (or both) fishing for trout. We'd need somewhere to stay (perhaps a cottage or nice little hotel) and would appreciate any suggestions. Are there any good sites with useful information on them please?

We'd need bank fishing, probably without waders as we don't have any yet.
Thank you for your help.

Head towards Dundee there is Kingennie fishery and there is log cabins, or piperdam with fish and cabin. There are plenty of smaller fisheries round about as well

When are you coming up?
I may have a cottage with free fishing available.
