Default Total Flyfisher

Good Evening . Does anyone out there take the digital version of Total Flyfisher, if so what is your opinion. The paper version cost a lot more for the few hundred K. to my home than the U.K. edition, plus no free gifts.

Regards.

How's France Dave, where are you based, are you missing the UK and it's superior fly fishing?

Hi , one of the things I miss about the U.K. is the fly fishing,I went through the full set for a Midlands lad,the Manifold ,Teme (Worcestershire) camping out at Sennybridge on the Usk,Ravensthorpe , Pitsford the opening of Grafham then Rutland. Happy Days.
I live approx. 60 K. South of Poitier ,plenty of small lake Carping , rivers Charente and Vienne not far away. We are hoping to check out the Creuse area and the South West corner this year ( the renovation is nearly done). Bruce, apparently there is a muc cheaper digital version. Glad you are feeling better.

Regards

Hi Davcoll......I have the digital version. I stumbled across it when trying to get a back issue, and to be honest that's what sold it to me......you get a few years back issues with the subscription, and I didn't have the most of them so it was good value for me. It takes a wee while coming to terms with navagating through the digital issue but you soon get used to the page / topic search and the clicking to enlarge the pages etc. If you're one for keeping old issues etc it's very handy for that...each new issue just becomes a back issue the next month if you get my drift.
They send you an e-mail to let you know the new issue is available.

I still like / prefer the paper copy of magazines though, you can sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the experience!!!

Hope this helps.....

Default Problems

Hi. Many Thanks for the replies. Decided to bite for bullet and go for the digital version (UK printed £37.50 for year +2 fly lines, Europe £50 I think and no prezzie), but the site would not except my cc (British) insisting on going to a Paypal site. I then phoned the distributor , straight to an answerphone , phoned later explained problem , lady said you need xxxxx I will put you through. Another answerphone . I may try again or I may keep my money.

Regards.

Been through your patch a few times; took the family to Pyla-Sur-Mer for August two summers back and had a stop at Poitiers (ahh, the days before recession).

Lovely spot mate, enjoy.
