Default Small world

An interesting journey into the wilds of Scotland.
I drove from Colne, Lancs up to Inverness and delivered my first polytunnel to a forwarding agent. Continued northwards heading for a place called Scardroy.
The scenery is unbelievable!! Mountains, wildlife, rivers and then a loch. Couple of folk in a boat fishing ( adrenalin starts here!) A couple of miles later, a bloke on the bankside, rod in hand. Parked the wagon and down the hill for a chat. Nice bloke called Donald....was I on the flyforums he asked, yes I replied....read your post he said, about travelling in your wagon and fishing.
Small world? ...read on.
Another 15 mile up what is supposed to be a road, into the absolute middle of no-where and found my destination. A gardener in the grounds came over...
"alright" I said
" I recognise that accent" he said. "Where ya from?"
"Cowling, but I work out of Colne"
" Kinell... I lived in Colne all me life" he said, "and moved up here three years ago.
Could have knocked me over with a feather! Small world or what.
Anyone else with a small world story?

Regards

Dave

BTW Cheers Donald, got an hour in.

Seems to be polytunnels everywhere up here in Fife, if you are up this way drop me a p.m. and I'll show you some great (free) river fishing. JB

Hi Dave
Hope you enjoyed your break time in wilds of the highlands. You never know we might meet again at some loch in the wilds. It was good to meet you.

All the best

Donald
