Question SOMETHING INSTEAD OF NAPTHALENE ??

after opening my tying bag this morning with napthalene in each section, individual bags etc this more or less instantly had me wanting to be sick ???? , it never bothered me before and wondering if it has something to do with my recent op's over last two weeks ,
do you have any recommendations for sprays ,,or even something very good natural wise , i dont have any bugs etc as yet and wish to keep it that way without feeling sick like this morning due to the napthalene smell ????????????

many thanks ,

Bruce.

Bruce,
I use cedar wood balls and have had no problems with beasties and SWMBO doesn't complain about the smell.

I keep feathers in ziplock bags inside cedar cigar boxes, then also in each drawer a sachet of moth killer sold for hanging in wardrobes ( don't have make to hand ) the moth stuff doesn't smell but kills any insect in the area. must be something like this
