teeny grubs eating my flies

Found a teeny white caterpillar eating my flies, a lot of teeny eggs on other flies. Similar thing happened to my wifes silk wedding dress when it had been stored for a few years.

But this time it does matter.

What is best thing to do? Grubs are too small to use for bait. Presumably this is a common problem. periodic blasting of all flies with fly-spray? putting all fly boxes in plastic bag with lots of fly-killer? or do I need to burn the lot?
Your advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
If the flies are worth saving (still in tact), put them in the freezer for a week to kill the bugs. Wash the flies in slightly soapy water, dry them on the radiator (or using a hair dryer) and then put them into a new box. Don't use the microwave to kill the bugs, you'll get sparks in your microwave!

if you succeed with the above killing them off get some napthalene crystals,mothballs and break them up or a good recommended spray and put some in your fly box , tying equipment etc etc etc i would check all your tying materials for them ....
