Default WTT Salmo Trutta

Started having a look at my copy of Salmo Trutta that came the other day . What a brilliant issue one of the best I have seen for a long time. I reckon its nearly worth subscribing just for the magazine....

Totally agree. The magazine is first class and I'm looking forward to giving my copy a good read during lunch today.

I agree as well, some excellent articles in it.

Many thanks on behalf of the rest of the WTT. Tim Jacklin does an ace job at compiling and editing the mag.

What everyone should also know is that the people writing pieces for the magazine donate them for free - which is no small consideration when many contributors past and present rely on writing as a source of income.

Thanks for your subscription support for our charity - we'll do our best to live up to it.

I totally agree. Hands down the best issue I have seen. I especially loved the extract of Roderick Haig-Brown's book on why we fish. Good article on habitat development on a beat of the Meon just up from me too (but one that my club can't fish).

Great work WTT and keep it up.

Denise tells me you can fish that bit of the Meon on a day ticket though. She also said that she always previously walked past the restored section "because it had no fish in it". I'm sure that's no longer the case.

Please excuse the quick hijack but I asked on a different thread about the Meon at Soberton. I wonder if Bumps or Paul G. could help? I was in the area and saw the river - of which I know very little about - and was transfixed by its beauty.
I also think that the Salmo Trutta is an excellent read and look forward to seeing the new one. Thanks chaps,

Reg Wyatt

Reg, I'll pm you the email address for Denise (our funding and communications officer). She lives in the area and knows what's what far better than I do!
