Default The Blooby!!! What Next?

I've recently heard that to get over the booby ban, what you can do is tie a blob with etherfoam underneath the outer fritz ball!

Then you can fish it on a DI7 with a short leader, or even use it as the point fly in the washing line technique.

I name this fly the Blooby!!

What next I wonder?

I thought the name FAB stood for Foam Arsed BLOB. Not "Booby".

Ive also heard that, a few years ago, some genius added a
"gold bead thingie" to a gold rib hares ear, to help it sink faster

Whatever will they think of next.

Comon Ron give it a rest old timer

Default Old news Ron

Been done for years.....

Foam Arsed Blob(FAB) is just being more open about it...

The best bet is to dub the body of an Orange lure using "Stike Out" ....you can get these to pop off the bottom no problem and it's not a booby...

You just need to read the rules correctly...if it say's "no floating flies on a sinking line" your stuffed......so just use a booby on the point of a floater with a goldhead on the dropper...just to get it all down...

Ways around everything...if you think hard enough.....although you'll just call it cheating or unsporting....

Personally i call it innovative, and pushing back the boundries..

Now where did i leave that old cane rod, silk line and box of dries

Due to whale flesh being short on supply you will have to use a more sustainable material.

How about the Rubber Blubber.
Or if a small tag was tied at the rear to aid controlled drift we could have a Rubber Rudder Blubber.
