I also believe that it's now a syndicate water, but not 100% sure as like the OP if finding it's nigh impossible to find any info.

I fished it quite often a few years back when we used to book boats which I was always told were owned by the Arniston Estate. My chum moved away and we stopped going

I'd love to fish it again.

I don't believe that there is any bank fishing and certainly never saw any when I was there

Let us know how you get on at harperrig. It's a water I've always fancied trying but never quite got round to it.

Went up to harperrig today was a bit windy, but found a semi sheltered bit and got 8 little broons, biggest was about 1/2 pound. One was caught on a pheasant tail nymph and rest on a hairs ear

Its £15 for the permit, bit steep but can fish it all day go home for food and back so not to bad, they have got a lodge thing there to, think you can only use it if their are season permit holders present though. Check out Harperrig Fisheries Ltd should explain it better than i can

Cheers man.....
Permit used to cost around £6 from a ticket machine for the whole day last time I was up,several seasons ago now.No stocking in those days though, which was as it should be IMO.

I can remember the ticket costing 54pence the first time I fished it as a laddie...jeez I'm getting auld....
