Hi folks, this is probably more related to sea than fly fishing but I'll ask anyway
Family holiday in a lodge on the shore of Loch Linnhe at Kentallen in August with friends, and my buddy is taking his boat up (SRIB with outboard motor)

He's keen to learn a bit of fishing and obviously I'm thrilled at having a boat to use! Don't really know the area at all though and wondering what gear to take - sea/spinning/fly probably, as much as I can cram in without the missus chucking it out, you know the score

Just after some fun fishing as we'll have the kids with us. Spinning or possibly fly fishing for mackies etc would be fun, maybe some shorecasting if I can squeeze that gear in too. Its only round the corner from Loch Leven, so I'm wondering if thats worth a visit too, although it may be a bit too "proper" fly fishing for them. Anyway, any tips, suggestions, do's and don'ts very much appreciated, especially as the pressure's on me to come up with the goods for some good sport and some good fresh fish for the table! Thanks in advance
Jeff
