Default Online retailer.. reliable?

Anyone have any experiences with Devon Angling Centre (Fishing Tackle, Carp Tackle, Sea Fishing, Coarse Fishing, Tackle Supplies). Are they reliable? Want to buy something from them but know nothing about them. I've have had bad experiences with other fishing retailers online before so just wanted to check them out here before ordering.

Thanks in advance

Having had a quick look at their site it strikes me that if you want to buy fly fishing tackle best advice is to use a specialist dealer, not someone who sells 'bits and pieces' of everything.

Someone has already mentioned Grommit who provides excellent service.

I've had no problems with Devon.
Last time I ordered, they were good enough to phone and tell me one of the items wasn't in stock.

Thanks all,

I'm after a snowbee Geo fly vest, tried one on the other day at my local shop but it was the wrong size, need a size down so I was going to order it online instead. I did check Grommit and Anderson anglings websites but they don't appear to stock them. Although I'm open to suggestions if I'm in any way wrong or misinformed

Cheers

Did you try the vest on with chest waders? If you intend to wear both at the same time remember that the vest will go over the waders, so will need to be bigger than your standard size! I made the mistake of buying a vest online and it is too tight to zip up when I have my chest waders on
Fortunately it has a belt in the middle which clips together and fastens but it's not ideal!

Yeah I thought about that but I was wearing 3 layers when I tried it on, including a thick fleece and it was still pretty big on me (I'm quite skinny, ~36" chest). Also, I don't wear chest waders, I have waist waders so that shouldnt be a problem.

Cheers

Hello mot, I've bought sea fishing tackle from these guys in the past, very friendly and quick delivery...I also think they are very close to Snowbee and can get stock in the same day, depending when you order.

Stockport fly fishing have stock of the Geo vest to, if this helps.

Hi mot

My brother and I ordered rods from them at a very good price but we did have to wait quite a while as they only had one in stock.
