Thumbs down Just got to go!

I arranged to have my first day of the new season today - was meeting a mate at Lockwood Beck Res. I renewed my rod licence online yesterday - I've got the tackle in the car (including new rod!), made my sarnies and filled a flask. Now I'm sitting here with bad guts and daren't leave the house

I'm supposed to be going with my wife and friends to an Indian restaurant tonight - that doesn't sound like a bright idea at the moment either! Some Bank Holiday this is turning out to be

Hi there Stickman,

Look on the bright side my friend, you could have a slipped disc to go with your dodgy digestive tract - then you'd be in REAL trouble
Enjoy your fishing when you get to it !

Happy new season Keith

Maybe you could practice casting whilst your sat there ......

It could have been worse mate you could have been out in a boat at Lockwood when the bug struck...

or you could be stuck with the pains of gall bladder removal and due to go back in tomorrow to have a stone removed from your bile duct

Pop down to the chemist and pick up some Arret capsules. It's be a shame to ruin a day out.

For toothache I'd suggest 1/2 a bottle of scotch to be taken internally
