Default Renewing your rod licence

Quick word of warning, the systems (online and telephone) are playing up so you might want to save your self the hassle and go to the post office.

If you go online its a 50/50 the system will accept your CC payment, if you do it over the phone get yourself a big mug of tea or a beer, a fishing mag and be prepared to wait and wait and wait until you get through and then be asked the questions at least twice and in my case 5 bloody times as their payment sustems were misbehaving

I always use the Post Office, and tax my car there too.
Support your local PO or you may lose it.

Always done mine on-line as I don't care for queueing at the Post Office. Never had a problem although they got a bit enthusiastic last year and issued me with 14 (yes, fourteen) licenses over a period of 11 months. The last one arrived a week or so ago just before it was due to expire. I've only been charged for one thankfully.
