Unhappy Fishing lesson..........not looking good

Booked a lesson on the Eden on the 6th when I am up near Penrith next week.

Looks like the weather is going to put pay to that bright idea.......

Anyone got a diving suit with a brass helmet.............

Had a look at the Eden today.

It's looking very swolen and muddy. I am meeting a local tutor on Tuesday morning and fishing round Lazonby but not sure the exact location.

I just hope it's still on and I can get a lesson in.

Have you checked the area forecast for the next couple of days? im unfamiliar with the Eden system but fingers crossed that if the weather holds off it may be good to go when you arrive!

Kurt.

Haya Kurt

Damp, moist, wet, sopping and soaking.

Mostly varients of the above. At least I can spend a few hours in the John Norris shop spending the rent......

Hi Acid, check the Eden rivers thread. NCA matt fished it today and did well.
I think the forecast should be ok for next week, I live two miles from the Eden, but I am laid up with a bad back, so haven't seen it of late.
Who is instructing you?
Steven.

I am staying in Morland until next weekend. Meeting Glyn on Tuesday.
It's not overly wet round Penrith but I went for a drive round the local hills and it's very wet up the tops.

Ah, Glynn Freeman, good chap.
I live a couple of miles from Morland, wish I could help you, but as I say I am totally out of action with the back.
I may be on the river at Bolton Willows next week if I feel better, with another forumite.
Good luck and unless the river is raging don't worry too much, plenty of sport to be had in the margins if a hatch is on.
A few LDO's about and Matt saw some March Browns today.
