Default Snapped my rod

Hi guys,

Was enjoying a great days fishing yesterday at my local fishery until one of the sections of my rod worked loose and somehow snapped the male part of the joint and also damaging the female part too
Anyway, I took it back to the place I got it from today, Sportfish, and they said they'll send it off to America asap. My question is, how long do you guys think until I will get my rod back?

Thank you,

Jonny

Can't answer that question but it's worth remembering that Foxons are authorised Sage rod repairers in the UK. I would imagine that would include warranty work.

I've just bust the tip section of a #7 XP and have sent it off to Renee Foxon who says she can sort it for me.

I d have thought they would send it to gary coxon first who as it is a new model may have a spare section already over here so it may be only a few weeks.

A bit of candle wax sparingly rubbed on each joint will help stop them working loose. I do this on all my rods these days after breaking one in exactly the same manner as described. Foxons sorted it for me.

they will send a brand spanking new rod within 2 weeks if not the company isn't worth dealing with but expect it as its a manufacturing fault. i had the same problem with a grays rod they sent me 2 rods one of the same and a new release to say sorry. i still have them both and the second is worth 2 times that of the one i sent back. a good company does everything in its power to satisfy even the most annoying customer as it boosts there custom
