Default Bristol Waters - Evening Fishing

This spring/summer I'm going to be working in Bristol 1 or 2 days a week. I was hoping to get in an evenings angling somewhere but having never fished here before I was hoping for some advice. I'll be fishing off the bank...
Blagdon, Chew, or Barrows?
Do I need to take my waders?
To purchase a ticket do I need to load the machine with pound coins?

Thanks,
Dave.

You will need waders for Chew or Blagdon but i think you don't for the Barrows.
You pay with cash/chq and drop the money in a box i think.
What time of year are you planning on coming to fish?

There is no wading allowed at the Barrows, however at Chew and Blagdon you will need to wade.
As WCB says money or cheque is placed in an envelope with half of the self service ticket, you keep the other portion and fill in your catch return which is part of the retained portion.

good luck

Dave

Gents, thanks for the response I may try Barrows to save on the amount of kit to stash away.
As for timings it will probably be after Easter when the evenings are long enough to for me to make it over from Filton and have a worthwhile evenings sport.
Regards,
Dave
