Default British Weather

Is there anywhere that's going to be worth fishing this week and the following bank holiday in Britain that's going to escape the rain, snow and general **** weather?

I'm still looking forward to Rutland opening despite the changeable forecasts; it's gone from saying very cold, high winds, sleet and snow with a chance of hail! to sunny intervals but still damnedly windy over the last 24 hours...

I'm at Rutland Thursday and Friday. Was beautiful opening day last year. Looks like the opposite this year. Grrrrr
