all
Thought i would share this. Last night while setting up to tie some salmon doubles I managed to impale my thumb with one side of a size 8 double...
I had to force the barb all the way through and then cut the barb off with a large pair of snips. ( came out no bother without a barb!!)

Next time I will get the tying gear ready before mounting the hook in the vice, what a f**ny!
