Default demon dilemma

Good day my fellow Fly fishermen/Women. Almost 1 year into this absoluetly fantastic sport & I have decided to throw a few bob at a new 4pc Hardy Demon #7 weight.
I already have a 8ft 6" 3pc Demon (paid £99... new) & love it to bits for smallish still water ie bank House nr lancaster & a tiny pond locally, but have used a Greys GRXi 9ft 6" 6/7 for biggish waters like Stocks & Roddlesworth. Question is, do I get a 9ft or 9ft 6" & where will I get the best deal?
PS If anyone gets the chance to fish Roddlesworth Reservoir (Lancashire) go for it! I went for an hour before work yesterday morning & got 2 fantastic fish on a home made hares ear.... Nirvana.
God must have been a fly fisherman to give me so much pleasure!

Well, I'll be the first to say it. You won't get a better deal than from Grommit on this Forum.

Send him a PM

Default Demon Rods

... and also compare the 4pc with the 3pc given the price differential.

Personally I would choose the 9' if bank fishing only.
