I've been using a GRX 9' 7/8 for best part of 8yrs and when plenty of other rods have come and gone this one has kept it's place. Although as TonyR pointed out, like the Sugarbabes, it doesn't have any of it's original members. Thank goodness for Greys warranty.

Really good no nonsense fishing rod. £40 is a great deal.

Cheers

Jon

I have one at 8' #3/4 - I'm keeping it to one side for my little lad to use when he's old enough. It's a nice easy casting little rod.

I've got the GRXi 8' 3/4 and it's a lovely wee rod. I got it half price just after Xmas (£42!) and I've got it paired with a Greys G Series 3/4 reel. It's wonderfully balanced, and great to cast with on a small river. I imagine the GRX will be very similar, and forty quid including the reel seems like a great price. Tight Lines!

I've had one for a few years now and despite being superseded by a few more expensive 'name' rods it still gets regular outings. Every time I come back to it never fails to please.
At £40 it's a steal.

Cheers

It's been superseded by other models since but I still like mine even though I mainly use a Streamflex now (mainly due to ease of packing). Very flexible but also immensely strong. It's even been known to subdue 10lb carp fully hooped over without too much bother.
