in these days of conservation, dwindling salmon stocks etc....

I found this picture when browsing at a fisheries picture gallery. Just thought i would ask everyone there opinion on this.....

Difficult to offer an opinion without knowing all of the facts. Easy to misinterpret what is going on from a single snap. Where did you find it?

wouldnt want to say, but i do think 8 fish is a bit crazy and totally needless

I'll admit 8 fish does seem a bit excessive, but who's to say the guy isn't a ghilie displaying a party's fish? As said, wouldn't like to comment without all of the facts.

well like i said didnt really want to say. it was the 2008 season but i just cant understand why you would feel the need to chap 8 fish over the head

The man has done well to get 8, he must really like to eat fish lol

From my limited time as a member i have seen people post things like this before and pose a question.

I am sure what many people here would like to know is what your viewpoint is on this?
You know where you found the image and are therefore possibly privy to the provenance of the picture.
What do you think is the conservation issues in this scenario beyond; 'He must like to eat a lot of fish?

I am sure you must feel it more worthy than a pithy remark or why post it?

Interesting first post indeed. Like other posters have said difficult to offer an opinion without the full facts.

Pictures like that can raise all sorts of responses but not always fair or correct...

In which case, can I suggest that in future you rename the image before you paste it otherwise your 'discretion' is a little futile.
