where can i get one,got a 7# and its a great line for casting saltwater flys,trying to find a 6# but everywhere i look they start at a 7# unless i buy from usa.not bought from there before though so rather buy here

Ive just checked the UK distributors website Rio Specialist Cold Water Lines Outbound Short

It looks like your out of luck, i had to order my 6's from the US. I dont understand why we get such a limited range of rio lines here??

Wouldn't bother trying any of the retailers suggested, Guide who are the UK distributors don't carry that particular line....If you are in a hurry, you will have to go to the USA, and bearsden are one of the best outlets over on that side of the pond.

However with the exchange rate as it is at the moment, plus the duty you will have to pay, if you don't mind waiting for about 6 weeks, go into your local Rio stockists, and ask them to order you one.

If they get in touch with Guide, they will get one for you no problem, but as I say, it will take about 6 weeks to get it to you.

I had the same problem recently when I was after a couple of Tropical Outbound Shorts. Was OK with the 10wt, but also wanting an 11wt, my local shop had to order it as a special, as Guide for some reason stock 10 and 12 wts, but not the 11wt.

Incidentally, Guide do not charge any extra for special orders.
