Hello,

Go with co-polymer, stroft is nice for tippet material on the end of a tapered leader, or by a furled leader then add your tippet section.

Hi Seaduke;

I use a furled leader with either a maxima or JMC Kamouflet tippet and I then use fuller's earth on the last 12 to 18 inches of the tippet. Don't know if getting the end of the tippet under the water really helps but I feel better for it so that's what counts.

Take care

Terry

I use a furled leader ( Get them from Phil at SpiderPlus) normally a 6ft one then add another 6ft of tippet, normally co-polymer. I find the weight of the furled leader sinks the tippet very quicky.

The turnover you get with a furled leader is much better than a standard tapered one. IMO
