hi all new to fly fishing just purchased a Bob Church rod and Greys GRXi 7/8 reel with fly backing line and a 90ft spool of Trion WF8F float line could someone help me please how much backing line do i put on and how much main line do i put on. Just joined fly fishing club in suffolk.

Welcome to the forum!!!
It should state somewhere in the reels paperwork how much backing it holds. Failing that check out Greys website mate, all the relevant infirmation should be available there.

welcome to the site,as for how much line ect best way is to put the fly line onto the real then attach the backing and wind that on till its full(not quiet all the way to the edge of the spool)then take it back of and rewind the backing back on first,its how i did mine to get it right any way
