Fly fishing has always been a hobbie that i have wanted to take up. Decided last year to start, had a day with a tutor, great fun, but the only thing is I dont know anyone else that flyfishes. I live in Cambs and want an experienced fishing buddy to help me.......please

im sure there will be members on here who would help you out by showing you some local places to fish and a few other tips,if not then why not try some of your local still waters and get chatting to some of the ppl there,its what i did and everyone all ways seems more than happy to give you pointers

Where are you planning on fishing? It might be worth finding someone with knowledge of the waters you plan to fish, or joining your local fly fishing club/association. You'll find people on here very helpful too, so keep asking questions.

hi i live in coton just out side the town. id be happy to take you out on grafham or anywhere you would like PM me and we can talk about it more. i am only 15 but i fish for the england youth fly fishing team and could hopefully teach you something usefull. :P also fly fishing in cambs is a hard thing to do as we only really have grafham and if its rivers you want its a good distance to travel to your closest.

Where abouts in Cambridgeshire are you? The Tuesday night boat leagues at Grafham and Rutland kick off in May, it is a really good way to meet people and learn more.
