If you are fishing from the bank i would go for a di3 if you are in a boat a di5 or di7 depending on depth of water and how fast you want it too sink.I tend to use floating line,a di3 and di5 but that is me i hope this helps

I use a Cortland Blue intermediate a good line to cast with and sits at a good depth especially for lake fishing. I would say a DI3 and DI5 are a bit fast sinking especially if the lake is shallow. Cheers Max.

I agree the Cortland blue always appears to have good right ups, if you are bank fishing the di3 is not an intermediate.

Have a look at the Pitsford Pirate range on here. General concensus is that they are damn fine value.
For bank fishing you want a slow or fast intermediate, unless you wan to go really deep.
PP will sort you out.

Another option would be the Airflo sixth sense selection of the Fast glass, Medium glass and slow glass. Good lines also. Dont know about the medium glass as its a new line on the market. cheers Max

For boat fishing 'trad style' this is a excellent option.

Also, have a look at the Snowbee Neutral Density.

Try the Pirate, good lines at good prices, you wont go wrong.
I use them, they shoot well, and lie straight, don't pay forty pounds plus, there is no need.
