Default old wooden bobbins for pearsals

Has any body got the above i am asking because i have just got another Rite bobbin but this one is for pearsals and to be fair before i ordered the guy told me to check to make sure that the pearsals that i had got would fit onto the bobbin holder as the bit that goes through the actual bobbin is the same size on all the different models of rite bobbin.I did but i just stuck my hand in the drawer and picked out the first one i came accross, and it just happened to be the old wooden type bobbin and it fitted great, it came today and it is great but the plastic bobbins will not fit on it anybody help me out thanks.
