Thanks all! Although I may have been a wee bit hasty! Lol!..
We awoke yesterday to nearly all the ice miraculously gone from The Tarn and by the afternoon, all the water was clear. However, needless to say, temperatures plumated here last night again and we've about half frozen again!.. Happy days!.. Just checked the forecast for the next few days & there is going to be a wee bit of a freeze over the next few night, but hopefully closer to the weekend it will warm up again!... Sometime around a weekend in July at this rate!..

So as of today, the Tarn is about half open for fishing, but actually fishing really well and to be honest, I'm surprized at how good a nick the fish are in after the 3 months of ice & fighting really hard so I'm told!...
We'll do our best to keep open, but please just give us a wee bell on the phone if there's any doupt!..

This weekend could be busy if we are still open, but no clubs or comps on!..

Yes, weather permitting we'll be opened everyday until 5pm at the moment!...
I've alot of cleaning to do and flies needing tied at the very least!...
And if anyones THAT bored, feel free to pop in and help me prepare marabou for dying!.... The fire is always roasting at the very least!..

Yip, woke up this morning & the ice is still completely gone. Spring must have finally sprung here at The Tarn and the forecast for the next few days is looking promising!...

Has Allandale got any comps this weekend or is it first come first serve.

No clubs and no comps this weekend!..
It's the first full weekend we'll have been open in 3 months and the first in the last few weekends where there wasn't something meant to be on, so the waters all yours!..

Fish are taking about 4 & half feet on average, nymphing periodically also. Emergers, simple bloodworms, yellow dancers and damsels have been the favourite today!..
