Default Airflo 40+ Expert Flyline

Can anyone tell me the best place to buy this line as I need to buy one for my son.

I am looking for the w/f 7 Floating Line.

Also he has asked about a Ghost Tip line , any ideas.

Cheers.

Thumbs up

top advice from taff. very poor quality lines. heard umpteen tales of them splitting at the join. my mate has the di7 and although not split, he prefers the older delta taper. Please dont get your son one of these!!!

I use the 40+ extensively but NOT in a floating line, where it is too "curly wurly" being a monocore line. PP's lines are vastly superior and half the price for a floater or midge tip.

They are best used for bank fishing, where distance is sometimes important and the ridge running line is excellent in terms of non-tangling.

They do wear out and snap occasionally but, provided you have proof of purchase, Airflo will replace them pretty quickly.

i must be getting confused here, the 40+expert line should have a braided power core ie: non stretch, not a mono core

I had the intermediate and whilst it did not snap (although i have heard many tales), it was just a pile of @rse. Tricky to get used to the change in thickness of the line when casting. Airflo have done much better lines than this.
