Default Matt Hayes, Mick Brown, Trout Fisherman

Could it be true that at some point soon Matt & Mick will be featured in Trout Fisherman?

Can these two well-known anglers cross over to fly fishing publications?

seems like a good way to get the coarse anglers to pick up the fly fishing mag. i only buy T&S and flyfishing and flytying so i will need to rely on the forum to see how this pans out. i have watched both of the guys on the telly and they are both likeable and entertaining so it might be a winner. cheers jon.

Well you never know steve nothing surprising today and lets face it money is money more so at the moment, not to say they need the money. It could be interesting seeing an alrounders take on the fly fishing scene. You never know they might even feature in T.F.F.

Doubt it.

I've heard they have 'standards'.

Matt Hayes casting clinic; aka how to cast with your hand at waist level with world's flippiest, floppiest wrist.
Can't wait.

Why not plenty of others have & I do not see them getting the third degree if this is the way this post might go.
Business is business in the circulation war & anything goes if it sells mags.
That will never change.

Perhaps an article with Matt & Mick in the gym, preparing for when they catch a 50lb+ carp on the fly

i haven't heard anything ...and to be honest it may be a good idea.

Just because someone can't cast as well as some of us or even fly-fish regullary it doesn't mean their a bad angler; or don't understand fish or their habitats.

They may approach waters and fly-fishing in a different way to us and we all may just learn something.

i always thought that most of us on here were open minded but it seems i may be wrong..
