Default which cheapish fly line do I buy ?

I am looking to buy 4 new fly lines for under 40 pounds each. Two floating ones for rivers a floating one for reservoirs and a sinking one for reservoirs. I want the lines to have no memory in them at all and float very high and the sinking one to sink quickly. The ones I have on our reels now have been on the reels 6 years. I bought a Hardy floating line years ago and it cost a fortune and its rubbish. Also an orvis one years ago too and that wasn't much cop either. I have been told the grey's range are very good but they are made by hardy ?????? Oh and please, no high vis lines. I hate them. looking for light green, ivory, white, light grey for floating and dark brown, dark green for sinking.

Oh bought two lovely jackets from a ski shop, lovely colours, pink and black, claret and light blue, waterproof, wind proof, ice proof etc and saved 100 quid. Not the dark green horrible colours you get normally from tackle shops. Erm the pic of me with the orvis wading jacket was reluctant. It's horrible and it's Tim's.

Can`t believe you haven`t got hold of Stuart (Pitsford Pirate) I am sure he will be in touch or do a search for him here, or just look at the top of the page.

Andrea, you wont go wrong with the Pirates lines.
Expensive lines at cheap prices, no memory, float like corks, never had a bad one yet.

Another vote for the Pirate's lines. For the money they are exceptional.

I'd recommend Barrio lines (at least for the floaters) I believe they are very simillar to the Pirates....

Not quite sure what you want.
Lets just say cheaper lines.
Barrio lines are good floaters by all acounts.
Me I would get a Air Cel in light green, aged but still a good line no matter what & under £20. John Norris Mill ends are worth a look as are ones from Mullarkeys
Tight Lines
