Default Hello

Hello everybody

I am french, i register today on your forum in order to perfect my english language, it is very very poor...

I flyfish (can i say like that ?) trouts, graylings and pikes in France. We have a french fly fishing forum here : peche mouche forum mouche pêche a la mouche - Gobages.com ! If you have any questions for information on flyfishing in France, come on on our forum, we are friendly

I have a blog where i write my fly fishing exursions : http://fanfouet.gobages.net (only in french). If you don't understand the french you can watch only the pictures and the movies...

Maybe we will come to USA with my wife in 2011, we don't know today where exactly... East, West, Rocky Mountains... ? My wife wants to go in New York, i wants to see Rocky mountains and beautiful rivers like Henry's Fork, Silver creek or Big Horn... We will see, and i will ask you for more informations

I am sorry for my bad english, if you want correct my text, i could learn easier (wow, do you understand what i said ?)

Thanks for yours welcomes

Fanfouet

Welcome Fanfouet, I love France and will find your info very interesting.

You are actually on the UK forum with this thread but there are American members as well.

Welcome to the forum from Luxembourg! Are you based around Nancy?

Take care

Yes, i live in Nancy, you know this city ?

For fly fishing, the rivers around Nancy aren't very well, but i have one hour on the road and i am on the Moselle river.

Vermontdrifter, are you living in luxembourg ?

Hi FanFouet,

Yep, living in Luxembourg but was born at Jeanne D'Arc back when it was the American military hospital and the parents have retired in Nancy. Heading to the Domaine de Sommedieu near Verdun next Sunday if you want to try and meet up there? About an hour away from you and a good warm up pour l'ouverture! If you're interested send me a pm.

Take care

Terry

Gracias a todos for the welcomes

Terry, it's funny, i will fish at Sommedieue next wednesday with a friend. For sunday, i think it will be difficult for me. Are you free next wednesday, we could meet over there ?

With our forum peche mouche forum mouche pêche a la mouche - Gobages.com, we will write a free webmagazine, with a report about flyfishing at Sommedieue... under the snow (with a movie !) I will post the link when it will be online if you want.

Again, i'm sorry for my poor poor english... If you want correct my bad sentences, you will really help me (for example, is this sentence it true ?)

Thanks !

Wish I could join you on Wednesday but I'm in the middle of launching a new software and even taking off today for my wedding anniversary was a struggle! Looking forward to the video and I think others on the forum would appreciate the beauty of Sommedieu along with the quality of the fish. Great place to practice sight nymphing and according to Bruno March Browns and CDC were working well on Saturday. Let me know how things went on Wednesday.

Take care

Terry
