First of all, ensure there is no twist in the line, so get yourself a ball of string and a coarse/sea fishing barrel swivel.
Tie string round a tree or post with plenty space behind you, attach swivel to the string then attach fly line to swivel with another bit of string, walk back wards unspooling the line until all the way out, lift and pull. That should take out any twist.
Now, using a damp cloth, from the back of the line forwards, give the line a wee stretch every couple of feet, don't pull too hard.
