Default whats the best way to fish snake flies????

Hi Guys
Have a few snake flies in my fly box,but haven,t used them yet....!! whats the best way to fish these things...!!
floating/intermediate/sinking line? fast/slow?
any tips?

At NIGHT obviously.


Some like to induce a bend or 'snake' into the shank these flies, but I don't.

these lads are for rainbow trout not white trout (or sea-trout) as some would say...........!!!!!!

Snakes are usually very light so I either use a sinking line or I introduce some lead wire into the braid when I'm tying them.

theres no snakes in ireland,well theres me thinkingst patrick drove all the snakes out.....if your in the closet come out....
