Default Braided loop help ?

Hey chaps need a bit of advice please

Have 5wt line and all the braided loops i have tried seem to be to big - just slip off when pressure applied - tried usual way - ie sleeve and glue but to no avail - tried whipping a loop on but frustration takes hold and in danger of throwing line with reel attached oot window !

Does anyone know where i can get slim braids from
regards

Ross

Step 1: Put loops in the bin

Step2: Gray's Loop - Fly Line Leader Loop

try threading the core of the line inside it,s self with a needle threader. just like working with braiding

No offence intended but this is a poor method and absolutely not recommended.

Due to hinging, the line will eventually weaken and split behind the plastic sleeve.
