Default Tarmac Loch

Has anyone ever fished at Tarmac Loch (between Auchinleck and Cronberry)? The reason I ask is it is rougly about 1 minute from where I live and I've never really seen anyone on it and just wondered if it's just not well known or if it's not that good.

yeah it does a bit, lol. I've had a look on google maps and there are 3 or 4 small lochs around the area. Any ideas on those? No idea what their called or even if they have a name. I only moved down here last September so don't know the area at all.

Guessing we can't be far away if you pass it often enough, I'm in Cronberry.

I work at Coyle Water, so fish there usually as it's free for me and also as a war veteran that goes to gardening leave, I have the use of 4 donated permits for river ayr and girvan. I'm hoping I can spread out a bit and fish further a field, all down to my health really

Tarmac Loch, nice wee fishery, rainbow trout not big, but, it seems to be well stocked.
Black buzzers are deadly, wild surroundings, I really enjoyed my visit, will be back to give it another go this season.
Billy.
