I'm going to try a Bison Chest/back pack this year. Not convinced I'm going to get on with a chestpack but it was only £20 (new) on Fleabay.

Default only one for me

William Joseph Chestpack.
Not cheap but have had mine for 7 years and still no real wear showing. It is adjustable and holds enough gear for a days river fishing/roving bank fishing, Flydeck is useful and have found that nothing falls out when in use.

I'd be lost without it now. Mines and older style of their confluence - check it out here and shop around for the best price. Well worrth the money

I have a back pack and a waist pack, but I have never fancied a chest pack, simply because I like to see my feet when wading.
I just feel it would make me less steady in a river, anyone else have this problem. ?
I can fall over well enough without one.

Yes, Steven. Not being able to see my feet unnerves me. I did try one, once and bent into the water to retrieve a stuck fly. Realised, too late, that I had left it undone with my tobacco and matches in it..finished the whole idea for me.

The Devils work Roy, I have on occasion, forgotten to zip up my pocket in my vest, and only realised three spools of tippet and a tin of mucilin later.
Jumping over a style is highly recommended if you want to lose stuff.

Having large feet . Together with other advantages this bestows is the ability to keep one toes in view. However Bi focal sunglasses are indeed the spawn of the devil.. An unplanned swim in the Rye was the result of wearing them whilst walking ..
