Default Traveling From Alaska need help

Hello, everyone in UK, I will be traveling over to the UK in 2 weeks from Alaska, to attend the spring fly fishing show as an exhibitor and was wondering if there was any chance for any fishing this time of year nearbye. As I have a couple extra days planned to stay and visit your area. I will be exhibiting at the show and was just looking for any local help for dining or lodging as I have not made my final plans yet and this is my first time to the UK.

Sincerely Charles Summerville

Default Thank you

Thank you both very much for the prompt responce as this info is helping me greatly. Its really nice to see the Fraternal order of flyfishing so strong in your area and willing to help out a fellow fly fisher from overseas. Look forward to chatting again sometime or seeing you at the fly fiishing show.

The only place I know that will be open is Ravensthorpe reservoir in Northamptonshire. It's not exactly close to Newark [65 miles] but as the UK's oldest reservoir [?] it may be of interest to you.
I'm sure someone else from the Newark area will know of somewhere closer.

Good luck
