Default Broken rod story with happy ending :)

After my last SWFFing outing I was trying to get my GT4 SW apart (I'd left it assembled in two sections for a few days and I think the salt had dried and stuck the joint together) and to cut a long story short, I broke the tip section, needless to say my heart sank

Anyway, after I'd calmed down I got on to Steve at The Fly Fishing Shop, Stockport from whom I had bought the rod and explained what had happened. He told me to bring it in and he would see what he could do.... I took the rod in and he rang Vision whilst I was there. Two minutes later he came off the phone and told me "No problem, they're sending out a new tip". He told me there might be a bit of P&P to pay but that’s all.

So three days later I gets a call from Steve, my tip's there waiting for me. I picked it up, asked if there was owt to pay, no nothing to pay!!

To say I'm a happy bunny is an understatement!! Great rod, great service, great result.

Also, thanks to Steve and The Fly Fishing Shop, great service from them too, can't recommend them highly enough

Cheers Dave
