Hi guys.I joined here last year as the sea fishing was so rubbish,went fishing once, broke my mates rod but did manage to catch one rainbow!!! But as the sea fishing has been rubbish yet again this last winter I've sold all my beach gear and now intend on concentrating on boats and fly.

I've fly fished for quite a few years on and off, but all the fishing I've done has been with the likes of cats whiskers and fritz?? I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any books or d.v.d's that could help me with fishing other flys like nymphs, dry flies etc??
What I'm really looking for is help on what sort of retrieve, depths to fish nypmhs etc, also what time of year to fish the different flies?

hywel morgans dvds are a good start, simple and easy to follow, i'm looking at getting one by nick hart at the moment as well as gwilym hughes's dvds.
very informative and again easy to follow.
