Personally, and it was a blatant opening day stockie bash I'm ashamed to say in 2007

96 Fish.....

Although, I do know of some massive numbers caught during Troutmaster fish off's that eclipse the shamefull 96...

I did hear of some scary numbers caught during the Aniversary Day/Week @ Rutland a few years back, Nick, Andy S, and Chris did well.....

Obviously theres gonna be some wierd and wonderful replies, opinions and comments on this thread when it escalates a bit more....

Not the most fish I have ever caught in a day but 21 most of which were on dries some on wets at the lake of menteith drifting all over probably more memorable.

Well I think those are outrageous figures when I have caught 3 fish I normally cut my hook off and tie on a conker to make it a bit more challenging or I find a blind person in a wheel chair that is fishing for the first time and ask him if he would like to fish in my swim with my kit

Or I will walk to another section of the ressie where I know their is no fish and try there (with my conker)

I once caught 87 in a day, but a guy who was in a better boat position than me had 144, if anything good hooking practice..but unlike some other anglers i never tire of catching, luv it loads, ck

I know my ability to catch loads of fish is limited because of my lack of
experience.
Only been fly fishing for a year.
Most I have caught is 8 stockies in one 4 hour session.
Would like to catch a couple more perhaps- but 60-70-80
Dont you get fed up after a while?
Maybe they get bigger as the numbers grow-do they?
Would love to try the conker( fly? )
Is that the fly you use when you are really good?
