I use the Met Office website but I wouldn't vouch for it's accuracy.

Met Office: Scunthorpe: forecast weather

I find that none are really accurate and they all conflict. If you look at the met office and the bbc forecasts they both give different temps and outlooks.

try looking up
Met Office: Scunthorpe: forecast weather

which is the five day met office for your area, I really think they are pretty good and usually the worst is they are a few hours out.Ok some days they get it wrong, but mostly i find i can rely on them.
( mind you we are quite a way inland. Coastal weather is a lot more changeable and harder to predict )

For lough anglers concerned about wind direction and strength, I've found Magic Seaweed to be pretty accurate and I always check it before heading out on any of the big western or central Irish loughs

metcheck is usually good. so is this Wind Map - Britain Observations better than andrews for the wind! click on nearest base to you and will give forecast.
