just watched paul young fishing the river eden with andrew dickson some nice wild brownies andrew caught,but poor old paul had to resort to a bit of camera work & skull duggery to get a fish,if you look closely at the fish he eventually catches towards the end of the programme he hooks it on his own rod yet plays it & lands it on andrews rod,if i was a gambling man i would say that the take on pauls rod was fake & andrew had to hook a fish on his rod & pass it on to poor old paul have a look & decide for yourselves

Never noticed that before, however that is one of my favourite episodes so still wouldn't bother me

I know we have talked about it before on the forum but I remember Donny Donovan telling me that after he spent a day watching John Wilson being filmed fishing on his beat of the Test - that I should never believe anything seen on fishing programmes! Donny called it embarrassing.
