hi everyone, thought i would give you a quick latest low down on manningford fishery wiltshire...got there yesterday morning early as they open..fish left hand bank as this seems to be the better side..at least up to the life belt..first fish about 30 mins later, on black lure with splash of glisten to pick up the light...many takes on lures all colours..cats..beaded damse..from everyone around the lake..
caught second fish on bead head lure black..moved to right side of lake and started to play with bloods.. third fish in... moved up a stand or two and fourth to a fly tied by a mate..black lure with green bead head..all fish done in about 3 hours..stonking fighting fish..most fish about 3-1/4 lb total bag wieght of 14.5..great day..wish the challenge had lasted longer...day before according to fish return sheet 11-2 oz came out and a 7 something.
