hi guys
last week while fishing at my fav trout water, i was fly fishing for pike and stood back on my trout rod that was on the floor of the boat

with my 15 st n it it went from a 4pc to 7 pc in millliseconds

the rod in question is a nielsen powerflex 9ft #7 4pcs the broken section is 3rd pcs from floor with rod stood on its butt

if i could get hold of this section the rod would be fine and iwould be happy again as i really like this rod and would prefer to get it sorted

anyway i am having probs getting intouch with anyone regarding this rod
they are from iceland
tried emailing them direct without any success
also the other day there was mention on the website of a uk/ireland distributor bill someone or other anyway emailed this bill got no reply apart from mail returned as unknown
since been back on the nielsen site today and all reference to any importer/distributor has been removed

anyone any ideas or even better has anyone got a powerflex 9ft #7

If you bought it from somebody in the UK you may be able to source another section .

I can probably con Harrison's into makeing you a one off - my phone is 01159463572 the cost is likely to be in excess of £40 plus p&p

thanks for offer will keep it in mind
i bought it from the lodge shop at my local trout lake
they were selling them off only paid £49.99 for it new,but it is a really nice rod

there are a few shops selling them in uk for £150+

only thing isthe one i have is the 9ft #7 nobody lists this size and wieght
not even nielsens own site

in an ideal world steve someone would come on with same rod with a broken tip section then i could buy it off them cheap and fix mine

Hi Chris, Last year Tacklediscounts sold these rods.I got one myself for about £30 and I love it.There were a lot of posts here as to whether they were the genuine article.If it is one of theirs you may get a replacement part from them.

its the genuine rod i have got the warrenty card and everything with it
